On October 1, 2002, Robert E. Schmidt receives the check from
Gary Shorman as Mr. Schmidt transfers majority interest of Eagle
Communications, Inc., to the Eagle Communications Employee Stock
Ownership Plan (ESOP). The ESOP is in its 5th year. Mr.
Schmidt has been with the company for 52 years.

Gary D. Shorman, President/CEO of Eagle Communications, Inc.,
reads the ‘Bob Schmidt Day’ proclamation for all Eagle
Communications and Eagle Radio properties in Kansas, Nebraska and
Missouri. Mr. Schmidt transferred controlling interest in the
company to the Employee Owners through an ESOP Program. Looking on
are members of the Board of Directors, Norman and Joe Jeter.
