The Chadron State College track and field team will host its annual Twilight Meet, starting at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3 in the Nelson Physical Activity Center.
Coach Ryan Baily said Black Hills State, South Dakota Mines and Gillette College also will compete.
The meet will be the third of the New Year for the Eagles. Baily said he nearly all of the team members are healthy and will compete.
The coach anticipates that the times in many of the running events will be fast because the track has been reconfigured, reducing the number of lanes from six to four. The new scheme will lessen the effects of the curves and also give the runners more space in their lanes.
The Eagles also will be at home on Feb. 24-25 when they host the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Meet.
