  Only three players made this year's Associated Press All-State Girls Basketball teams with another 10 receiving Honorable Mention nods.

6-3 Sophomore Jordan Hooper of Alliance was a first-team selection in Class-B, 5-10 senior Breanna Jungck of Hay Springs was a D-1 second-teamer, and 6-0 senior Jackie Westover of Harrison-Sioux County was a second-team selection in D-2.

Hooper and Jungck were also named as All-State by the Omaha World-Herald...Hooper as first-team and Jungck as second.

The AP Honorable Mention selections were:

CLASS B
Lindsey Briggs, Jasmine Clarke, Brooke Peters, Alliance;

CLASS C1
Kelsie Lliteras, Chadron; Cierra Pedersen, Mitchell;

CLASS C2
Sara Van Newkirk, Oshkosh-Garden County; Shelby Campbell, Hemingford;

CLASS D2
Megan Adams, Hyannis; Liz Ellicott, April Stangle, Harrison-Sioux County.
