A Chadron mental health provider will stand trial in Chadron this spring for Medicaid fraud. 52-year old Jennie Miller has pleaded not guilty on 2 felony counts of fraudulently obtaining payments on behalf of a recipient of medical assistance.
Miller is scheduled for a pretrial hearing May 16th, with her trial set for the jury term beginning May 29. Prosecuting the case will be the Nebraska Attorney General's office.
Miller is accused stealing more than $15,000 by filing phony Nebraska Medicaid claims for patient sessions she didn't attend in 2009 and 2010.
