A Chadron woman was killed in a single vehicle traffic accident about ten o'clock last night (Tuesday) on Highway 20 a half-mile east of Crawford.
The Nebraska State Patrol says 44-year old Betsy Guthrie lost control of her older model SUV and it rolled at least 7 times. Guthrie was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the SUV. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed was listed as a probable factor in the accident, but Dawes County Attorney Vance Haug says an autopsy and toxicology screening is scheduled for later today in Scottsbluff.
