Alliance - Is there a silent thief stealing your calf crop?

Trichomoniasis fetus or commonly called trich has become more wide-spread in Nebraska the past few years. This disease might be impacting your herd.

The Cattle Capital Cattlemen are hosting a meeting Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Alliance Country Club. Speakers Drs. Arden Wohlers and Darrell Haney will address trich and actions producers need to take. Larry Gran with Bovigen will also make a presentation on using DNA information to improve your herd.

The evening starts with a social at 6:30 and a no-host brisket dinner at 7:00. The presentation will be at 8:00. Members and no-members are welcome to attend. Please call for a reservation by April 5 to (308) 762-3005. This could be the most important meeting you attend this year.
