The Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals has named the Banner County schools' Travis Miller as its Outstanding New Principal for 2009.
Miller arrived at Banner County in 2007, and Superintendent Lana Sides says he's built a solid learning atmosphere by working with students, staff, and community members in giving students a positive educational experience.
