Douglas Gene Strotheide, 58, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at his home in Chadron.
He was born March 9, 1950 in Alliance, Nebraska.
Survivors include his wife, Janice, son Jeff and wife Pam and daughter Jill Wilkins all of Chadron, Nebraska. Also surviving him is sister, Janie Strotheide of Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron, Nebraska with Pastor Seth Levpoldt officiating.
A Memorial has been established for the Chadron Volunteer Fire Department and donations may be sent to Bank of the West, PO Box 1001, Chadron, NE 69337.
