  GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Chadron State women's golf team sits last after the opening 18 holes of the 2-round  Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship.

     The event at Estrella Golf Club  in Goodyear, Arizona, is the season finale in the league.

      CSC shot 382 Monday, leaving the Eagles 60 strokes behind first-round leader Western New Mexico, 52 behind 2nd-place Colorado State University-Pueblo and 7 strokes behind 7th place Nebraska-Kearney.

     On the individual side, there's a 4-way tie for 1st at 79 between Glynnis Price and Haley Raymond of Western New Mexico, Pueblo’s Dominique Dinallo, and Kendall Martin of Adams State.

   Leading Chadron State was Alissa Peterson with a round of 89...one stroke out of a tie for 20th...after a 44 on the front 9 and a 45 on the back.

    For the rest of the Eagles, Allison Rowden shot a 95, Caitlin Parker and Emilee Pilkington each carded 99 and Ashley Kurtz finished at 101.
