The Miss Chadron/Miss Northwest Outstanding Teen program is taking entries for the Fur Trade Days Princess for a Day fundraiser.

There will be two winners drawn and those winners will get to ride with Miss Chadron Outstanding Teen Kaelia Nelson during the Fur Trade Days Parade held in Chadron on July 9. Each winner will also receive a tiara and sash. Past princesses have also been honored guests at the Chadron Teen pageant.

Each entry is $5. There is no age limit, and you can enter as many times as you want.

To enter, write your name, age, telephone number and parent's names (minors only) on a note card or piece of paper and send it, along with your entry fee to: Riki Hunter, PO Box 805 Hemingford, NE 69348-0805.

Drawing for the winners will take place on Friday, July 8, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. Winners will be notified immediately following the drawing. If you have any questions, call Riki Hunter at 430-4355 or email maoteenchadron@gmail.com.

All proceeds will go back into the Chadron Outstanding Teen pageant scholarship fund.
