On September 22, 2010, Officers from the Chadron Police Department received a report of an alleged internal theft that had been occurring at Common Cents, at Third and Main, for several months.
The Chadron Police Department conducted an investigation into the alleged report and have initially found that approximately $1,900.00 had been taken from the business from June 2010 to September 2010.
As a result of the investigation, an employee, 33 year old Jesse Branham was arrested for Theft by Unlawful Taking, a Class III Felony. Branham is currently being held at the Dawes County Jail and has a $10,000 cash bond.
