Tyson Hill, the 57 year old owner of Bruce Hill Furniture and Carpet in Chadron, was found dead in his office shortly before 1:00 p.m. Friday by a store employee.
The Chadron Police Department and the Dawes County Attorney/Coroner, Vance Haug, were called to investigate the cause of death.
Preliminary inquiries and the gathering of evidence has been conducted and foul play is not suspected at this time. However, an autopsy and toxicology screening have been ordered to be completed on Monday, October 4 in Scottsbluff to attempt to determine the specific cause of death.
Results of the ongoing investigation will be released as they become available.
