ALLIANCE - Authorities near Alliance are looking for 26 cows and calves that went missing last month southeast of town.

Box Butte County sheriff's deputy J.D. Sutphen says the 13 calves were last seen on Nov. 3 and the 13 cows on Nov. 20. All are red or black angus owned by Bob Jesse and Jim Olsen.

The cattle are valued at $20,000 to $24,000.

Authorities believe the cattle were stolen, but no suspects have been identified.
