A Special Election will be held on Tuesday, November 13th for the continuation of the existing 1 ½ cent city sales tax. We would like to encourage all registered voters to visit the polls.

The Alliance Volunteer Fire Department would like to remind you when you set your clocks back one hour on Sunday, November 4th, to please replace the batteries in your smoke detectors. If you are in need of a smoke detector and cannot afford to purchase one, please contact the Fire Department at 762-2151.
The City of Alliance will continue collecting yard waste through November 30th. If your blue container is full prior to regular refuse collection days, you may take your yard waste to the landfill at no charge. Please contact the Streets and Sanitation Department at 762-5400 for more information.

Story Time at the library will celebrate National American Indian Heritage Month on Tuesday, November 6th at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, November 8th at 10:00 a.m.
