A Hemingford woman has been charged withfive counts of theft forallegedly stealing money from five different Hemingford Public School funds, and is scheduled to be arraigned today (Wednesday) in Box Butte County District Court.

49-year-old June Kuhn is accused of stealing $7,143.63

Kuhn is accused of taking the money between November, 2007 and April, 2008 while serving in her position as high school and middle school secretary.

$4,548.24 was allegedly taken from the school's FFA account, while the remainder of the missing money is from the High School track fund, the Drama Club, the Senior Class graduation fund and the Senior Class cap and gown fund.

Kuhn is represented by attorney Russ Harford of Chadron.
