Financial aid is available for students in the spring semester at Western Nebraska Community College.
According to Financial Aid Director Penny James, there are both scholarships and grants available for students from federal, state and local sources. "These will be given out on a first-come first-serve basis," she said. "Some of the scholarships are designated for specific subject areas and some are based on need."
She recommends that students apply as soon as possible through the Financial Aid office at the Scottsbluff Campus or the Sidney or Alliance Center.
The spring semester begins Jan. 12, 2004.
