The five armed robbery suspects from Montana arrested last Thursday after a 14-hour manhunt and lockdown in Chadron have now been formally charged and are scheduled for arraignment Tuesday morning in Dawes County Court.

Dawes County Attorney Vance Haug charged 16-year old Sean Jones last Friday with two felonies, including conspiracy to operate a motor vehicle to avoid arrest and conspiracy to receive, retain on dispose of stolen property, as well as two misdemeanors; reckless driving and obstructing a police officer.

Monday morning, Haug charged the other four; 20-year old Jacob Krauss, 18-year old Jeremy Adams, 19-year old Jordan Lee Adams, and 21-year old CJ Adams, with the same crimes except reckless driving. All five remain in the Scotts Bluff County Jail on $750,000 bail each.

All five are expected to face charges in Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota for a string of four armed robberies last week. Krauss and Jordan Adams are also expected to face Montana charges for walking away from a pre-release center, while C-J Adams is likely to be charged with parole violation.

C-J and Jordan Adams were serving terms for robbery while Krauss was serving one for burglary.
