Dear Huskers,
I have heard from so many of you over the course of the last week and hope to eventually be able to personally respond to your calls and cards as soon as I get settled. In the meantime, I want to thank you for your support of our football program.
We sincerely appreciated your attendance and positive vocal support at Saturday's game and for your continued support at the Kansas State game on Nov. 10. This will conclude the 2007 home season for 29 seniors, including 11 native Nebraskans.
After speaking with many of our players on several occasions this week, I assure you they really appreciated your response on Saturday as well.
We are so proud that “There is no place like Nebraska ” and time and again, we have seen that there truly are no fans like Nebraska fans. You continue to be a valuable member of this Husker family, and we thank you for your ongoing support.
