  Two 18-year old Chadron State College freshmen from outside Nebraska are the new Miss Chadron and Miss Northwest.

Sheridan Mueller of Lingle, Wyoming, and Joanna Lynn Boos of Murrieta, California, were crowned Saturday night as the 17th winners of the two crowns.

Both plan to compete next June in the Miss Nebraska Scholarship Pageant for a chance to become Miss America.

23-year old Amy Amack of Chadron, a CSC senior, was the runner-up to both titles, while 19-year old Kashia Imlay of Dunning, another CSC freshman,was picked by the other seven contestants as Miss Congeniality.
