For the public’s reference a copy of the Open Meetings Law has been posted on the north wall of this room in the audience area. This posting complies with the requirements of the Nebraska Legislature.

B. Resolution No. 07-112 - Police Policies
Resolution No. 07-122 will approve the third series of various Police Department Policies which have been reviewed by both police and legal staff. Revisions have been made when appropriate and are designated using the strike-out and redlining method.
C. Resolution No. 07-113 - First Quarter Capital Purchases
This resolution will authorize Staff to amend the previously adopted First Quarter Capital Purchases Authorization and begin soliciting bids for two snow brooms and two snow cabs for the Parks Department. With the addition of these items the grand total authorized for first quarter purchases is $146,000.00. Several of these items will be bid during the first quarter; however will not be paid for until a later quarter.
D. Resolution No. 07-114 - Museums for America Grant Application
Resolution No. 07-114 authorizes the City to apply for a grant with Museums for America. The grant will be applied for through the grant writer contracted by the Eldred Foundation. If successful in acquiring the grant, the matching funds requirement will be made by the Eldred Foundation and not the City of Alliance. Any fund acquired through this grant will be used for museum displays in the Knight Museum and Sandhills Center.
