Chadron Police have STILL not confirmed they have arrested the five armed robbery suspects who were the subject of a morning-long manhunt and lockdown, but they have lifted the lockdown at Chadron State College.

College President Janie Park was notified about noon that the campus could reopen, but decided to go ahead and cancel all afternoon and evening classes.

On-campus students, who'd been asked to stay in their rooms, could once again roam the campus and college employees, who were barred from coming onto campus during the lockdown, returned to work.

The CSC-Adams State volleyball match will go ahead as planned at 7 pm.
