55th Annual Box Butte County Fair Parade Information and Rules

Categories: Commercial, Non-Commercial, Youth Organization, Agricultural Antiques, Antiques, Horses and Riders, Novelty
Each Entry should provide THREE COPIES of 3" x 5" index cards completed with all necessary information about the entry. These are used by the announcers and should include information such as: Name of group or individual, Rider (s) and Drivers, Year/Model, History/Background, or other information as it applies to your entry.
All entries must stop at the registration headquarters to receive a number for the line-up which is in numerical order.
Each Entry is judged by a panel of three judges on the following: Originality, Relation to the Theme and Overall Appearance and Neatness.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place in each category. Winners will be announced at the Fair Grounds after the parade. Prizes may be picked up at the Fair Office.
Due to safety regulations for all those involved, we are asking for candy to be handed out rather than thrown from the floats or vehicles. We appreciate all entrants' cooperation.
Demolition cars, stock cars and motorcycles must be towed on a trailer if they wish to enter the parade. Vehicles that cannot license may be driven under direct adult supervision and only with permission from the parade coordinators. If the coordinators deem the vehicle or driver at risk, the entry will not be allowed in the parade.
NO water, water guns or water of any kind will be allowed in the parade.

Please help us move things along by having your entry information completed on THREE, 3 x 5 cards. You may leave your 3 x 5 cards at the Fair Office in Hemingford.
